77th Narcissus Festival Queen Pageant

Description

The Narcissus Queen Pageant is a signature event of the annual Narcissus Festival, organized by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. 

The pageant celebrates culture, leadership, and community by selecting a group of outstanding young women to serve as ambassadors of goodwill. Contestants participate in a multi-stage competition that highlights their talents, cultural appreciation, communication skills, and personal achievements. Through segments such as talent presentation, Chinese attire, and speech, each contestant showcases her individuality while embracing Chinese heritage and traditions. The newly crowned Narcissus Queen and her Court represent the Chinese Chamber throughout the year, participating in cultural events, community service activities, and the historic Narcissus Goodwill Tour to China. 

Together, they promote friendship, cultural exchange, and the spirit of aloha between Hawaii and communities abroad. The pageant not only honors tradition but also fosters leadership, confidence, and a strong sense of cultural identity, making it one of Hawaii’s most cherished and enduring cultural programs.
